Oil for export

Your Nov. 18 article “Keystone decision looms for president” didn’t mention that the goal of the Keystone pipeline project is to transport crude from Canada to Port Arthur, Texas to be refined and exported, not for consumption by the U.S. Keystone will create jobs but it won’t reduce U.S. dependence on foreign oil. May the fact checkers and oil experts weigh in on this!
