Sarah Bae of Athens Drive capped a stellar high school career by making a 25-foot birdie putt on the second playoff hole to win the N.C. High School Athletic Association 4A girls’ golf championship.

The High Point University recruit has been one of the top girl golfers in the state for the past four years, but the long birdie putt clinched her first NCHSAA title after finishing second, sixth and third in the preceding three years.

Ravenscrof junior Jessica Kittleberger dominated the N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association championships.
