Broughton junior Maggie Kane won the N.C. High School Athletic Association 4A tennis singles championship and leads a strong group of underclassmen on the All-Metro girls all-star tennis selections.

Kane is joined on the team by Panther Creek freshman Sammi Smith and Jordan Strickland, who won the 4A doubles title, and Broughton juniors Adrienne Overcash and Kara Summerford, who were the 4A doubles runner-up. Carrboro sophomore Danielle Sawyer and Cary junior Jamie Rogers complete the squad.
