Evan Johnson of Cary has earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Boy Scouting.
For his Eagle project, Evan planned and led the construction of a footbridge at Harris Lake County Park in New Hill. The bridge, located along the Peninsula Trail, helps hikers over an area where rainwater runs across the trail.
Evan, son of Bill and Heidi Johnson, is a member of Troop 202 and is a junior at Athens Drive High School.
