— Police narcotics detectives charged a Raleigh man with having more than a kilogram of marijuana and with keeping a house on North King Charles Road as a place to keep or sell the drug.

Christopher Alan Jones, 36, was arrested Wednesday afternoon, according to an arrest warrant.

It listed his home as 5845 Branchwood Road in north Raleigh, though an arrest report listed his residence as the house at 824 N. King Charles Road, where he was arrested.

Detectives charged the townhouse was kept as a place to keep drugs.

When they arrested Jones, he had 1.275 kilograms of marijuana and about a gram of methamphetamine, police charged in the warrant.

Magistrates set his bond at $30,000.
