Four team up at Falls Lake to earn Silver

Bridget Birth, Rachel Harris, Cailley Michaud and Julie Pappalardo, all of Raleigh, have earned the Silver Award, the second highest achievement in Girl Scouting.

For their Silver Award project, the girls worked at Falls Lake State Recreation Area building benches, ladybug houses and snake boards as well as a podium for use by Falls Lake park rangers.

All four girls are members of Troop 1045, led by Diane Michaud and Gena Pappalardo.

Bridget, Cailley attend Leesville Road High School, Julie attends Raleigh Charter High School and Rachel attends Cardinal Gibbons High School.

Bridget is the daughter of Randall and Molly Ann Birth, Rachel is the daughter of Nelson and Jill Harris, Cailley is the daughter of William and Diane Michaud, and Julie is the daughter of Gena Pappalardo.
