Durham man wanted in connection with home invasion, assault

— A Durham man is wanted in connection with a Nov. 5 home invasion that left a Durham man hospitalized with serious injuries.

Christopher Edmond Jones, 20, of South Roxboro Street, is wanted on charges of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury, second-degree kidnapping and robbery with a dangerous weapon, according to police spokeswoman Kammie Michaels.

Jones and Gary Lorrell Inges, 27, of Palmer Street, are suspected of attacking and robbing a 26-year-old man at his home, Michaels said.

Inges, 27, was arrested on Nov. 6 and charged with second-degree kidnapping, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury and robbery with a dangerous weapon.
