Durham police seek second man in assault and robbery case

— Police, who are looking for Christopher Edmond Jones as a suspect in an assault and robbery, want to know if the public has information that could help them find him.

Jones, 20, of South Roxboro Street, is wanted in connection with a Nov. 5 assault and robbery in which a 26-year-old man was seriously injured at a residence on Fargo Street, police spokeswoman Kammie Michael said.

Police have charged him with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, second-degree kidnapping and robbery with a dangerous weapon.

The day after the assault, police arrested Gary Lorrell Inges, 27, of Palmer Street, charging him with second-degree kidnapping, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injuries and robbery with a dangerous weapon.
