The robbery, at 306 Olive Street, took place when Mildred Perry, 84, arrived home from the store with groceries and was approached by the man wielding a knife, according to police.

The man forced Perry into her home, where her husband, Ronald, 86, was at the time.

Perry gave the man money, and he fled on foot. Neither of the Perrys was injured.

Police described the suspect as a black man, standing about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with shaved or close-cut hair. He has a slim build and was last seen dressed completely in black and wearing a bandana over his face.
