Adele Walker Olmsted and Andrew Gwyn Williams were married October 6, 2012 at White Memorial Presbyterian Church in Raleigh. The Reverend Dr. Gary Fulton officiated. A reception followed at Haywood Hall. The bride is the daughter of Varner and Becky Olmsted of Raleigh and the granddaughter of Rachel McKenzie and the late Duffy McKenzie of Fruitland, MD and the late Mr. and Mrs. David Olmsted of Raleigh. The groom is the son of Richard Williams and Martha Williams of Western Australia and the grandson of Mary Williams and the late Gwyn Williams of Long Eaton, England and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Tragitt of Visalia, CA.

Jessica Pittman of Boone was the maid of honor. Bridal attendants were Lauren Sorensen and Allison Lanka of Charlotte, Erin Baldwin of Lawndale, CA, Mary Williams of Western Australia and Laura Olmsted of Raleigh. The best man was Jared Dietrich of Vancouver, Canada. Groomsmen were Guy Boudville, James Bull and Ben Oliver of Western Australia, McKenzie Olmsted of Raleigh and David Olmsted of Houston, TX. Hannah Honeycutt of Charlotte and Jacob Brown of Western Australia read scripture. Bart Copeland and Dr. Karl Zinsmeister provided the music.

Adele is a graduate of Appalachian State University and Australian National University and is employed by the ACT Council of Social Service. Andrew graduated from the University of Western Australian and is completing a juris doctor at Australian National University. He is employed by Ernst and Young. The couple honeymooned in Fiji and live in Canberra, Australia.
