Gerald Lester: The dropouts

The dropouts

The bold Dec. 8 headline said “Jobless rate falls to 7.7%.” Omitted or buried from the report of 146,000 additional jobs is the statistic that 350,000 unemployed people quit looking for work – and now aren’t counted as unemployed.

This is like reporting the airplane got off the ground but ignoring that the crew threw out the passengers!

The liberal script is to ignore anything that doesn’t help their cause, and the media are an important part of that deception.
