RALEIGH — Police on Wednesday were investigating the shooting of a Raleigh man while he was in a car outside a downtown apartment complex.
Officers found Cecil Bartu, 28, was in the car when they arrived at the scene of a shooting call at 11:38 p.m. Tuesday outside the Carlton Place apartments at 450 S. East St.
Bartus injury was not believed to be life-threatening, police said, and he was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Bartu lives at the Woods of North Bend apartment complex in North Raleigh, police said.
