Over-reaching judge

Another punch to the head by liberal-leaning judges such as Superior Court Judge Gregory Weeks and his most recent ruling on three death penalty cases. Weeks, who is set to retire at the end of this year, decided to set aside the death penalty sentences for two cop killers.

Weeks won’t be around for re-election, so he won’t stand before the court of public opinion to face responsibility for his actions.

As a once retired and now working again law enforcement officer, I’m ashamed to be part of a judicial system with such power that overrides the decisions made by competent juries.

Judge Weeks needs to change his name to “Judge Weak.”
