Steve Livingstone: 500 tries

December 20, 2012

Regarding the Dec. 11 article :N.C. faces jobless benefits cliff”: Sure, per Mitch Kokai, John Locke Foundation spokesman, the best plans and their attendant programs will always have their abusers. Look at Congress, for a sparkling example!

But I can produce a spreadsheet that will give him over 500 easily verifiable approaches for employment, since January. I imagine I’m not alone in this regard.

I have also been supplementing my weekly income, ongoing, since I began to take public assistance and, in some weeks, this reduced or completely eliminated my benefit, for a particular week.

So, on behalf of the vast majority of us teat-suckers, he can take his ignorance and arrogance back to his Raleigh stink-tank!
