Donaica Harris of Greenville and Kennedy O’Donnell of Wake Forest were selected to compete in the 2012 Miss Junior Teen Raleigh pageant.
Competitors are chosen based on their applications and interviews with pageant coordinators. In last month’s competition, which was open to girls ages 7 through 19, contestants modeled casual wear and formal wear and were interviewed by a panel of judges. Personality is the most important factor in all aspects of the competition, according to a press release from the pageant.
Donaica, the daughter of Veronica Cary, is an eighth-grader at Farmville Middle School.
Kennedy, the daughter of Roxanne and Troy O’Donnell, is an eighth-grader at Heritage Middle School.
