Fred Barnes Hight, Jr., 82, of Raleigh, passed away, Saturday morning, December 22, 2012 at Hospice of Wake County.

A Graveside Service will be held, Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Montlawn Memorial Park at 3:00 p.m.

Born September 28, 1930 in Henderson, NC, he was the son of the late Fred Barnes Hight, Sr. and Margaret Capps Hight. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Frances Dise; and brother, Tyler Hight.

Fred is survived by his loving wife of 64 wonderful years, Louise B. Hight; son, Barney Hight; daughter, Michelle Parson and husband Matt.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Fred to the SPCA of Wake County, 200 Petfinder Lane, Raleigh, NC 27603.
