The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Julian Daniels Bobbitt, Jr., of Raleigh. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Julian Daniels Bobbitt and the late Mr. Bobbitt of Rocky Mount, NC, and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Riddick Cowper, Jr., of Windsor, NC.

Mr. Thompson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Graham Thompson of Rangeley, ME. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Hanscom Thompson of North Berwick, ME, and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Raymond Littlefield, Jr., of Sanford, ME.

Josie Johnson Malone of Washington, DC, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Victoria Brooke Beasley and Shannon Eileen Johnston of Atlanta, GA; Cambey Merritt Mikush and Kimberly Ann Miller of Saint Louis, MO; Dana Cooley Clifton of Durham, NC; and Eliza Abigail DuPre of Carrboro, NC. Greeters were Ashley Stewart Mohney and Katherine Suzanne Zellner of Washington, DC; Lauren Alexa Engstrom of Charlotte, NC; and Ashley Board McMullin of Vancouver, Canada.

Daniel David Pelkey of Acton, ME, served as best man. Abigail Elizabeth Thompson of Waltham, MA, sister of the groom, was the groomslady.
