Bad guys and guns
To the letter-writer who commented on Wayne LaPierre’s statement, “The only thing that will stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.”
The writer’s comment was about “how about a bad guy without a gun”? There are already laws to prevent bad guys from getting guns. The shooter who shot the fire fighters in New York was a convicted felon and could not legally possess weapons. There is absolutely nothing we can do to keep guns out of a criminal’s hands.
