Double charges. Period.
Regarding the Dec. 14 letter “Win for BCBS”: The notion that Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina’s recent victory in refusing to pay for imaginary services has nothing to do with the ability of a physician to practice sound medicine. This is pure tommyrot.
The issue was hospitals and clinics charging for services that were never delivered, pure and simple.
