Dancers take part

A group of dancers from the Holly Springs School of Dance was selected to perform in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City this year.

The 40 dancers, all in high school, spent several days in New York rehearing before the big day, when they were part of a group called “Spirit of America.”

Performing in the parade were Lizzie Akins, Allie Behnke, Mary Bird, Allison Brown, Malia Burley, Ellie Chappell, Holland Corcoran, Amy Dillman, Scarlett Dobbs, Marissa Dunn, Evan Emhart, Mollie Fisher, Nykesha Fyffe, Rachel Gonzales, Grace Gemberling, Hannah George, Erin Gurney, Yasmine Haddad, Shelby Hayes, Taylor Herring, Caitlyn Hill, Claire Holland, Em Jacobsson, Alexandra Karlos, Emma Kauffman, Brigitte Kelly, Allie Lewis, Christine Lewis, Caroline Markoch, Anna Martz, Elaina Martz, Brienne Mizell, Ashleigh Miller, Julie Owens, Katlyn Puzak, Christina Raig, Delaney Robinson, Morgan Rouse, Brianna Steers and Allie Vella.
