Elisabeth Schricker of Raleigh has earned the Gold Award, the highest achievement in Girl Scouting.
For her Gold Award project, which she titled “Changing Linens, Changing Lives,” Elisabeth coordinated the donation of 400 sets of linens from hospitals to local homeless and domestic violence shelters, reducing the shelters’ need to reuse bed sheets and pillowcases.
Elisabeth, the daughter of Drs. Paul and Mary Schricker, is a senior at The Ravenscroft School in Raleigh and a member of Troop 776, led by Amy Bailey and Donna Wells.
