Joan Anne Gross and David George Baron were married on December 27, 1952, at St. William the Abbot Roman Catholic Church, Seaford, New York. They are the proud parents of seven extraordinary children: David, Jr. (Catherine), Matthew (Rita), Jacquelyn (Mark), Geraldine, Thomas (Cynthia), Janis, and Joan (David). They have eighteen grandchildren, one step-grandchild, and six great-grandchildren with another expected next June.
