Mr. and Mrs. Albert Weaver III of Weaverville and Raleigh announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Alandra Weaver to Michael Scordo, M.D. both of New York City. Michael is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Scordo of Cliffside Park, New Jersey. Alandra is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill and is completing graduate studies at Hunter College in Manhattan. She is the Administrative Director to the Physician-in-Chief of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Michael is an honors graduate of Boston University and UMDNJ - New Jersey Medical School. He is a second year resident at New York-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center. An early 2014 wedding in New York City is planned.
