Marisol Elizabeth Lopez and Michael Ryan Hodges Darnell were married on November 10, 2012 at six in the evening at Art Work Net Work Gallery in the Santa Fe Arts District of Denver, Colorado. Chris McPherson officiated. Dinner and dancing followed.

The bride is the daughter of Dora and William Lopez of Columbus, Georgia, and the granddaughter of the late Elena and the late Manuel Diaz of Sabana Iglesia, Dominican Republic and the late Carmen Felliciano and the late Jorge Lopez of Guyanilla, Puerto Rico.

The groom is the son of Jerry and Donna Darnell of Raleigh, and the grandson of Gordon and Judy Rhodes of North Wilkesboro, the late Thad and Doris Darnell of Roaring River, and the late David and Katherine Hodges of Fort Myers, Florida.

The matron of honor was Dina Meslovich of Littleton, Colorado. Other bridal attendants were Melissa Herndon of Columbus, Georgia and Lauren Orzechowski, of Washington, DC, sister of the groom. Flower girl was Kimberly Lopez of Gainsville, Virginia, niece of the bride.

The best man was Joshua Trager of Denver, Colorado. Other groomsmen were Edward Feldman of Los Angeles, and Daniel Orzechowski of Washington, DC, brother-in-law of the groom. Ring bearer was Stephen Orzechowski of Washington,DC, nephew of the groom.

The bride graduated from Columbus State University. She is Systems Analyst at Starz Entertainment.

The groom graduated from Ravenscroft School and The American University. He is Office Manager of the Office of the Governor of Colorado.

After a wedding trip to Germany, The Czech Republic and Italy the couple will make their home in Denver, Colorado.
