Laura Elizabeth Eberhardt of Raleigh and Charles Patrick Woodard of Florence, SC were united in marriage on Friday, December 28, 2012 at Christ Episcopal Church. The Reverend Meg Buerkel Hunn officiated the ceremony. A reception followed at the Angus Barn Pavilions.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Allen Craig Eberhardt of Raleigh. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Alexander Drake and the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred John Eberhardt.

Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lee Woodard of Wilmington. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Daniel Burnette, Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Roland Lee Woodard.

Elizabeth Whitlow Farrell served as matron of honor. Blair Brinkman Dougher served as maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Jennifer Ashley Dyches, Caitlin Sales Henry, Kristen Anderson Hudson, Elizabeth Ann Lekson, Katie Alexander Raisor, Karen Lee Sybyl, Robin Nicole Tierney, and Tyler Lee Woodard. Julia Sage Burnette and Victoria Grace Ricker served as flowergirls. James Edward Gibbons III and Heide Posten Marrow read scripture. Amy Connors Howard, Katharine Elizabeth Kelley and Lindsey Elizabeth Kitterman were greeters.

Richard Lee Woodard, father of the groom, served as best man. The grooomsmen were William Judson Burnette, William Craig Eberhardt, Michael Collin Jordan, George Anthony Moluf III, Rembert James Moore, Willard Daniel Stout, Billy Alvin Tunstall III, James Wesley Webb, Jr. and Christopher James Wilson. John Ervin Dougher II, Woodson Chapman Hopkins, Benson Ross Langdon, and Wade Browning Taylor served as ushers.
