RALEIGH — Police have charged a 25-year-old man with attempted murder in the shooting of a 23-year-old man at the older man’s home on South Fisher Street.
Tyrone David Stewart, who lives at 18 S. Fisher St., was being held on a $500,000 bond Monday pending a court appearance.
Zollie Leroy Jones Jr. was listed in critical condition Monday at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh.
The shooting happened Thursday night.
Police arrested Stewart on Friday after an investigation, police spokeswoman Laura Hourigan said.
They found him at a home on Berry Court in the Idlewild Village development, according to an arrest report.
Police said Stewart and Jones knew each other before the shooting.
