Regarding the Dec. 8 article “Raleigh church files Chapter 11 bankruptcy”: Holy smoke. A church with a recording studio, tech center and health club facilities and a little nepotism thrown in for good measure. Is this congregation of 1,000 families or 1,000 people willing to contribute to such a lavish set up? How much of this is tax exempt?

Your story left out many details. Who gets left with the bills when they file chapter 11?
