Dawson Tripp of Cary has earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Boy Scouting.
For his Eagle project, Dawson built risers for a stage in his church, Colonial Baptist Church in Cary.
Dawson, the son of Reid and Angela Tripp, is a junior at Athens Drive High School and is a founding member of Troop 613, sponsored by Colonial Baptist Church.
