Bridget Seelinger of Raleigh has earned the Gold Award, the highest achievement in Girl Scouting.
For her Gold project, Bridget created an educational website about endangered sea turtles. She also conducted a workshop to teach children about sea turtles and distributed information to local science teachers.
Bridget, the daughter of Mark and Maureen Seelinger, graduated this year from St. Thomas More Academy and was a member of Troop 920, led by Kristi Milowic.
