RALEIGH — Police were treating an apartment at 2011 Orchard Hollow Lane as a crime scene Monday while they awaited word from a medical examiner on how a 13-year-old girl died.

The girl’s body was found about 7 p.m. Sunday in the apartment where she lived, police said

They considered her death suspicious because they did not know the cause, but they had not determined that foul play was involved, officers said.

The address is in the Orchard Pointe Apartments off Lineberry Drive.
