Stop spending spree
I wonder how many men and women in Congress read the bill that saved us from going over the cliff.
The Senate had three, yes, three, minutes to read about 154, yes, 154, pages. Guess we have a lot of speed readers in the Senate. These are the people we used to look up to, but no more.
All the Congress knows how to do is spend, spend, spend. Even in a bill that is supposed to help save money, there is money for Hollywood, a rum maker and other freebies. And, by the way, it does not matter if senators and representatives were Democrats or Republicans.
When will we wake up and tell the president and the Congress enough is enough? Stop spending!
