Governor’s bait
I think I have been a victim of a “bait and switch.” First Gov. Pat McCrory appoints Tony Tata to the DOT and doesn’t even know how to pronounce his name (because it was obviously not his choice, but Art Pope’s), then he gives all his Cabinet a raise with money we don’t have (after telling us how fiscally responsible he’ll be).
But I guess I am just the frog in Aesop’s Fable, and he Gov. Scorpion. My bad; I knew what it was when I let it hop aboard. Just goes to show, “Be careful what you ask for ... you just might get it.”
