DURHAM — Police said speed appeared to be a factor in a one-car crash that killed Jason Chisholm Thresher, 27, of Durham on Saturday evening.
Thresher’s Nissan 350Z went off West Carver Street near Faison Road and hit a tree, according to police.
He was not wearing a seat belt and was pinned in the car, investigators said.
The accident happened about 7:45 p.m. Saturday.
Police said their investigation was continuing.
