Arson detectives have arrested a woman who they say intentionally set fire to a home full of people in northwest Charlotte early Monday.
Miguelina Rosaldo Garcia, 33, is charged with first degree arson and malicious damage by use of an incendiary. She was in Mecklenburg jail late Monday. Her bond had been set at $60,000.
Police say she set fire to a home on Kiley Lane around 1:30 a.m. in northwest Charlotte near Beatties Ford Road and Hornets Nest Park.

A witness called 911early Monday about the fire then went to try to wake up the people inside the house. Thats when the witness saw what police described as a suspicious person. Firefighters put out the fire with minimal damage to the home and no one was injured.
Police say the victims and the witness provided a detailed description of the person who set the fire. Rosaldo was arrested at her home around 6 a.m.
