Let them drive

It makes sense that the young illegal immigrants who enrolled in President Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program be allowed to receive “provisional” driver’s licenses.

As long as they are legally allowed to work, attend institutions of higher education or enroll in the military while their possible citizenship is processed, they require the means to travel on our roads. However, these licenses should be designed in such a way that they can in no way possible ever be allowed to be used as identification to acquire voting privileges. Upon their becoming legal citizens, they can then be issued normal driver’s licenses along with their voting privileges.
