Raleigh woman charged with shooting at car on Poole Road

— A 21-year-old woman faces two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill stemming from what police said was a gun being fired from one car at another on Poole Road.

Kristal Renee Hill of 7213 Cedric Drive in Raleigh was being held on $151,000 bond Thursday in the Tuesday evening incident.

She also is charged with firing a .40-caliber Smith & Wesson handgun into an occupied vehicle and with discharging a weapon inside the city limits.

According to police, Hill had a verbal disagreement with Shnarra J. Ganus, 30, who was driving another car while both were westbound on Poole Road.

Hill drew the gun and fired at Ganus’s car as she sped away with her passenger, Ashley J. Macon, 27, and called 911 for help.

With a description of Hill’s car, police stopped her at about 6:30 p.m. on Rawls Drive and arrested her, according to a report.

Neither Ganus nor Macon were hit by the gunfire, police said.
