High and mighty

Our Republican legislators now propose to give yet another break to the rich by ending income taxes. They’ll make it up by raising sales taxes on necessities like food, once again clobbering the poor. Brilliant!

These are the same geniuses who solved the global warming problem by passing a law saying it doesn’t exist.

Maybe after they finish with the tax thing they can repeal the law of gravity so they’ll be able to fly. And then – if we’re lucky – they’ll fly right out of North Carolina, which would be the only time in their careers they ever did something good for the people of the state.
