When visitors come to town, what are the places and activities that you consider “must-see” and “must-do” to show off the best of North Carolina. We want to share them in a special guide publishing Memorial Day weekend for the start of summer travel season.

Please visit http://nando.com/ncplaces and tell us about your favorite destinations. We want to hear about the well-known, the little-known and, yes, the quirky places, too. If you took a photo you’d like to share, we invite you to post it as well.

Tell us who you are and how to reach you if we need more information. (We won’t publish your phone number.) The deadline is Feb. 15.

We look forward to hearing from you.

News & Observer is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news. Some of the comments may be reprinted elsewhere in the site or in the newspaper. We encourage lively, open debate on the issues of the day, and ask that you refrain from profanity, hate speech, personal comments and remarks that are off point. Thank you for taking the time to offer your thoughts.
