Spending spree
In the Jan. 15 article “Obama warns GOP against debt ‘ransom’,” the president stated that he wanted to raise the debt ceiling without any changes in spending.
If an individual went to a financial adviser for advice on how to reduce credit card debt, I doubt the adviser would recommend that he apply for even more credit and continue to spend at the same out-of-control rate.
He also compared not raising the debt ceiling to walking out on a bill after eating at a restaurant. I ask, who goes out to eat knowing they don’t have any money in their pocket? Come on, man!
