Liking the lice

What do head lice, colonoscopies, Brussels sprouts, Genghis Khan and the country of France have in common? Answer: They all scored higher than the U.S. Congress in a recent favorability national poll conducted by the group Public Policy Polling.

But, wait, there’s more here to think about. Amazingly, a full 9 percent of respondents actually gave Congress a favorable rating.

How and where did the pollsters manage to find so many wayward souls? My guess? They asked their relatives.
