Waste of a walk

I went for a walk recently on the trails around the N.C. Museum of Art down to Meredith College. I was dismayed and angered by the amount of dog poop on the shoulders of the trails and even on the bridge over the freeway!

These trails are for everyone’s enjoyment. Do you let your dog go into your friend’s or neighbor’s yard to do their business and just wander off?

Lackadaisical and irresponsible dog owners need to clean up after their animals. Use the bags that are provided on the trails or bring bags from home.

Public spaces are for all – two-legged and four-legged – to enjoy!
