A high-speed chase ended in a crash on Interstate 85 near Kings Mountain on Tuesday afternoon.

A chase began around 3:45 p.m near Blacksburg, South Carolina, and the suspect vehicle went onto I-85 northbound across North Carolina before crashing near exit 10A. Troopers tried to pull over a man who was driving erratically, but he refused to stop.

Speeds reached 100 miles per hour during the chase.

It’s unclear if anyone was hurt. Drivers should expect delays in the area through rush hour.

The suspect involved in the chase has been apprehended, according to officials.
