DURHAM — A 16-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the upper thigh in a Wednesday night shooting on North Elizabeth Street, Durham police reported.
The male victim was taken to an area hospital with a non-life-threatening injury, according to a police department news release. Police did not release his name.
Police said it appeared the victim and suspect knew each other.
The incident happened about 7:12 p.m. in front of 704 N. Elizabeth St., police said.
