DURHAM — Investigators are trying to locate three teens in a shooting that left another Durham teen wounded Wednesday night on Elizabeth Street.
They are looking for: Richard Tiberious “R.T.” Bonaparte Jr., 17, of Dakota Street; Demarkee Rayheem Midgette, 16, of Cathy Drive; and Dontae Lamont Richardson, 17, of Grant Street.
Bonaparte is charged with conspiracy to commit assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
Midgette is charged with conspiracy to commit an assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and one charge of possession of a handgun by a minor.
Richardson is charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, discharging a firearm within city limits and possession of a handgun by a minor.
A 15-year-old juvenile has also been charged with conspiracy.
The shooting was reported at 7:12 p.m. in the 700 block of Elizabeth Street, according to police spokeswoman Kammie Michael.
The 16-year-old victim argued with the four teens before he was shot in the leg. His wound was not life-threatening, Michael said.
