Mr. and Mrs. James R. Smith of Raleigh, NC are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Melissa Smith to Mr. Joseph Rowbottom of Greensboro, son of Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Rowbottom of Batavia, NY.

Melissa is a fourth grade teacher at Durant Road Elementary School in Raleigh. Joe works in the Registrar’s Office at Guilford Technical Community College in Greensboro, NC.

A sacred wedding is planned for April 6, 2013 at Trinity Baptist Church on Six Forks in Raleigh.
