Regarding the Jan. 20 article “Former Hostess workers are scrambling after job loss”: The real problem for all of the former drivers (and other employees as well) lies with their union, which refused to bend one inch while they were in discussion with Hostess on how to become a viable company again.
The union’s refusal to allow Hostess to operate under Chapter 11 bankruptcy law is the real reason the company and all of its workers are now looking for work, not the fact that records aren’t being released on a timely basis.
