RALEIGH — The westbound lanes on Interstate 40 have reopened between Wade and Harrison avenues after an accident that closed all but one lane this afternoon.
Westbound traffic on I-40 and Wade Avenue remains congested.
Authorities have not released information about the accident, which appeared to involve several vehicles.
