DURHAM — Police have released the name of a man who was struck and killed by an Amtrak train on Tuesday night.
Raymond Jacob Phillips Jr. was hit about 7:51 p.m. a quarter mile from the Buchanan Boulevard crossing near West Main Street. Phillips, who was 78, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not released any other information about the incident.
