Out of reach

Oh, how gracious of Ned Barnett to “invite” us conservatives to be a part of the governing of our country (“The GOP should reach out,” Jan. 27).

I quote him: “Conservatives have a great deal to contribute to the nation’s future.” A check would reveal that conservatives built the structure of America. The effort and values built on personal responsibility, faith and common sense have been ingrained in those he invites to watch the liberal circus act. We do not have to join any Democrat parade to financial insanity and a Santa Claus government.

Maybe Barnett should look out his window at that Republican House, Senate and governor’s mansion to see who better reach out.
