RALEIGH — Curtis Stuart Scarborough, 23, has been charged with attempted murder in a Pearl Road shooting on Saturday night.
Scarborough was taken into custody Monday by the Raleigh Police Department’s Fugitive Unit.
Tony Curtis Stephens, of Wake Forest, was found wounded outside a vacant house at 4004 Pearl Road when police arrived Saturday at about 11 p.m., spokesman Jim Sughrue said.
Stephens was taken to WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh for treatment and was reported to be in critical condition Monday.
Sughrue said Scarborough was arrested without incident and is being held at the Wake County Jail.
Scarborough’s motive and bail amount were not immediately available.
